Abstract Records of the Office of the President are separated into three subgroups; the Carmon Ross Papers, Office of the President 1937-1957 and Office of the President 1957 to current.  The records in this group are from the second group, 1937-1957.

Arrangement The original arrangement was alphabetic.  It has remained that way.

Abstract The Provost is the Chief Academic Officer of the school. All academic programs and academic deans report to him. Papers in this record group reflect the activity and administration of these programs. Abstract This collection is comprised of the materials created by and collected by Dr. Richard Groman during his years at Edinboro.  As both a faculty and an administrator, the materials represent his scholarship and the administrative functioning of the school from 1967-1998.

Arrangement The materials arrived in file cabinets arranged alphabetically.  As materials were weeded and boxed, the alphabetic arrangement was kept.
