Abstract

Records of the Office of the President are separated into three subgroups; the Carmon Ross Papers, Office of the President 1937-1957 and Office of the President 1957 to current.  The records in this group are from the second group, 1937-1957.

Arrangement

The original arrangement was alphabetic.  It has remained that way.

Custodial History

When Normal Hall burned, a number of records were rescued from the building.  It is believed that these were among those taken from the burning building.  They were then put in storage until Russell Vance began work on his history of the school.  It was at that point that the records were brought back to light and eventually placed in the library.
