Scope and Contents

These are included in the Senate Record as a functional ancestor of the senate. They are minutes of the faculty for the dates given. The meetings were typically chaired by the pricipal and included the small number of faculty employeed at that time. Matters that came before them range from academic concerns to discipline of individual students. It is worth noting that during this period, the school was private but receiving state funding for tuition reembursement from the state. This meant that the board was much more involved in the day to day operation of the school. Pennsylvania did not purchase the school until 1914.
