Scope and Contents
Hendricks Hall, built in 1969, was originally named World Cultures Building. On November 14, 1971 it was rededicated Hendricks Hall in honor of Dr. Luther V. Hendricks. Dr. Hendricks was first a member of the teaching faculty and advanced to become Head of the Social Studies Department from 1946 to 1969. In 1969 he became Dean of the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences. He died in 1970.
