Scope and Contents

The Talking About Teaching Series provides professors with methods of improving their teaching skills by looking at ways that other teachers use methods of increasing student involvement. Dr. Jean Jones talks about being part of a scholarly community, what it means to be part of a community, and how to become part of a community. Dr. Jean Faieta talks about advanced organizers, integrating group activities, support group networks, and learning expressways folders. Dr. Theresa Thewes talks about establishing rules and open communication on the first day of class.
