Scope and Contents From the Series: From the earliest 1968 draft of a College Senate to Senate Handbooks in the 1990's, this series documents changes in the goals and governance of the Senate. The earliest constituion differs markedly from the current version. Membership was limited to seven top level managers and faculty were represented by rank, 20% of full professors, 10% assoicate and 5% assistant. Only faculty with three years of service could vote.
