Scope and Contents
All student newspapers are included in this collection. The newspapers under the title Spectator date back to 1935. Earlier papers date further back. The Plaid 1931, Normal Dial 1898-1899, Edinboro Prometheus (unsanctioned by school) 1966-1969 (special collctions PS3568 .U817 P76) and 1993, Edinboro Review (partially written by students) 1903-1911, Normal Star 1896, The Birch Rod 1912-1913, and The Students Friend 1869-1870. All pre-Spectator issues are short incomplete runs.
The photograph series is extensive and covers the years 1953-1975.
