Some press releases written between 1998 and 2002, have been digitized and made available on the public relation webpage. It is available to anyone associated with the university. Those that were not digitized have been retained in paper. Press releases prior to 1998 were not digitized and consequently a paper copy is retained in the archive. The second series of Subject Files contains a variety items including the reports of Edinboro's first capital campaign and faculty newsletters from the 1970's.

Edinboro University Public Relations Office produces material for public consumption. This collection contains press releases developed by that office. These press releases are sent to local newspapers and may or may not be published. A significant number of the releases are available on the Public Relations website. A paper copy of these is not kept by the University Archive.
