    Policy C061 requires that the International Student Services office act as the repository for the following: International student services (immigration records only) - retain permanently Policy C061 requires that the office of Resident Life and Housing act as the repository for the following: Damage records (including pictures) - retain 7 years from term of occupancy Emergency cards - retain 1 year Housing agreements - retain 7 years from term of occupancy Policy C061 requires that the the office Student with Disabilities act as the repository for the following: Student disability records - retain 7 years from date of graduation Student employment records (for students who work in the office)- retain 7 years from date of graduation Policy C061 requires that the office of Student Health Services act as the repository for the following: Health center patient records (non-regulaatory) - retain 7 years from the last date of service Outside services for regulatory required medical surveillance and monitoring records - retain 7 years Policy C061 requires that the office of Student Judicial Affairs act as the repository for the following: Disciplinary records - retain generally 7 years from the date of final adjudication Student judicial code violations - see student code of conduct XI- retention of records for duration The University Archive collects the following: Minutes of departmental meetings - send after 5 years Publications of the department (not aimed at recruitment) - send after 5 years Studies conducted for department purposes - send after 3 years

  • Biographical or Historical Information

    The position Director of Student Personnel was formed in 1965. Harry Earlly directed this office until 1956 when William Cornell was appointed.  V. Frederick Keonig held the position of Dean of Men until 1958.  He was succeeded by by James M. Smith who was in turn succeeded by James M. Harrison.  The Dean of Women position was filled by Ruth Peck in 1958.

    Aside from the oratory programs and commencement programs, the bulk of the material dates from the 1970's to the current.  Student affairs covers the school programs that are not curricular in nature.
