Scope and Contents

This is a small collection of materials dating from 1928-1994. Most noteworthy are the materials relating to the Centennial celebration and the school histories. One separate is a folder holding two pen and ink prints, one of Academy Hall and the other of Biggers House. The other separate is tube containing architectural drawings for the Clock Tower.

Biographical or Historical Information

Dave O'Dessa began his connection with Edinboro as a student.  During that time, O'Dessa played football and was named All State College for all four years.  By 1967 he was coaching for Edinboro and did so for five years.  After coaching he moved into the Director of Housing and Food Services position.    From here he became the Associate Vice President for University Facilities and Campus Development.  Finally, in 1979 O'Dessa accepted the position of Vice President for Administration and Institutional Advancement.  One of the highlights of his career was serving as the National Chairman for the 1985 and 1987 national wheelchair games.
