Biographical or Historical Information
James (Jim) Harrison was the son of Edinboro's famed coach, 'Sox' Harrison. Jim grew up in Edinboro and accompanied his father on a number of school related activities. After spending time as a petroleum engineer, Jim returned to Edinboro to become the Dean of Men in 1960. During the 1976-1977 academic year, the Dean of Men and Dean of Women combined into one position, the Dean of Students, which Jim Harrison assumed. He retired in 1982.Note written by Dave Obringer

Abstract
This is a small collection of random items relating to Edinboro University. Several items relate to Jim's father, Sox Harrison, for whom the Edinboro football stadium is named after. Also included are some rare commencement programs from the 1800's.
