From the Series: This series contains documents that Edinboro State College completed and submitted to the National Center of Education Statistics (NCES). NCES complied the statistical information from the Higher Education General Information of Education Survey (HEGIS) for the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). There are additional copies of the HEGIS report and various printouts as well. Within the series, the information pertaining to the NCES ranged from 1979-1984. The documents filed in the series include: The Fall Enrollment and Compliance Report (1979, 82-83); Higher Education Staff Information (1979); Financial Statistics of Institutions of Higher Education for the Fiscal Year (1979, 81, 82); College and University Libraries (1979, 82-83); Degrees and other Formal Awards (1980-83); Institutional Characteristics Survey Form (1981, 83-84); Residence and Migration of College Students Fall (1981); Salaries, Tenure, and Fringe Benefits of Full-time Instructional Faculty (1980, 83-84). Also, there are instructions to updating and changing printouts (1980, 1983) and instructions to use the Hegis. Additionally, there are other documents relating to the NCES. The American Association of University Presidents (AAUP) sent a questionnaire and letter regarding the report on the salaries of faculty. The letter stated that Maryse Eymonerie Associates, Inc. was to take control over the preparation of the report. There are a couple letters from Maryse Eymonerie Associates, Inc. concerning the report on salaries of faculty as well as their request for a copy of HEGIS XVIII ED (NCES) Form 2300-3. The request was to help in making a smooth transition with the report. Finally, there is directory of international students (1983).
