From the Series: This series contains information regarding the higher education in Pennsylvania. There are various documents, reports, and memos within the series. The reports were the result of the various surveys distributed from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The reports in the series include: Fall Enrollment (1979), Financial Statistics (1982-83), Faculty and Staff (1983-84, 1984-85, 1985-86), Residence and Migration of Students (1984), Library Statistics (1984-1985) and Directory of Selected Personnel at Institutions of Higher Education in PA (1985). The information within the reports contained statistics from the most recent data as well as trends on a variety of selected topics. Also included within the reports was an Annual Data Plan from 1983-84. This plan was a summary of data collection forms to serve as a guide to fulfill the data requirements of PDE. Other documents included: Management Classification, Pay and Performance Evaluation Program (1987), Higher Education and the Economy, Summary of Selected Trends in Institutions of Higher Education and the State System of Higher Education Fact Book.
