From the Series: This series contains information pertaining to the degrees and other formal awards from 1972 to 1986. There is a 1972 copy of the Office of Education form on the degrees and other formal awards. Additionally, there are two publications from Education Today on the degrees and other formal awards (1982-83, 1983-84). These publications contains statistical information related to basic education, higher education and vocational education in Pennsylvania. There is also a publication from the Office of Institutional Research and Planning named Our Colleges and Universities Today. The information found in the publication includes the associate, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degrees by institution and field of study for all of the post-secondary institutions in Pennsylvania. Finally, there are spread sheets from 1986 that contained number of diplomas given for the 1985-86 year.
